The French have no word for confusion, nor an expression for being confused.

It’s these kinds of things that make life hard for an exchange student.

Constantly in a state of confusion, and no way to clearly articulate it. People must think things.
Ahh those exchange students. The loud annoying ones. Kind of like those people who play music out loud from their phones on public transport. Just. Don’t. 
But they’re (I’m) just trying to cover up my confusion.

Maybe if the French had a word for it they would be less confused.
